• Talk with your students about the bus safety rules and the bus rules
• Let them know that the safety of everyone depends on them following the rules
• Have your children at the stop at least 5 minutes before stop time
• Talk to your children about courtesy to other people

BUS SAFETY RULES

• CROSS 10 FEET IN FRONT OF THE BUS
• ALWAYS WATCH THE DRIVER
• DO NOT BEND OVER AROUND THE WHEELS OR IN FRONT OF THE BUS
• WALK AWAY FROM THE SIDE OF THE BUS
• NEVER GO UNDER THE BUS
• NEVER APPROACH A BUS UNTIL THE BRAKE SETS
• NEVER STAND UP UNTIL YOU HEAR THE BRAKE SET

BUS RULES

• FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS
• STAY SEATED WITH FEET IN FRONT OF YOU
• NO PROFANITY
• NO FOOD OR DRINK ON THE BUS
• BE COURTEOUS TO OTHER PEOPLE
• NO VIOLENCE
• KEEP HANDS/HEADS, VOICES, GESTURES INSIDE BUS
• DO NOT DESTROY PROPERTY

• WARNING - (NOTIFY PRINCIPAL AND PARENT)
• PARENT CONFERENCE
• SUSPENSION OF BUS PRIVILEGES
