Principal's Letter

Welcome Back! I hope you have all had a great summer and enjoyed your well-deserved time off. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Principal of Sheridan High School. My name is Gabriel Trujillo. I am coming to Sheridan from the Denver Public Schools where I have served as a Coach, Teacher, Dean of Students, Manager of Curriculum and Instruction, and Assistant Principal. I am excited for our upcoming school year and believe we can make a difference for our students.

        I am dedicated to improving our academic achievement, school culture, and community engagement to enhance every Sheridan High School students’ educational experience. My philosophy is as follows:

• I believe in demonstrating compassion for the needs of our students, teachers, parents, and community.
• Organizing our school into a professional learning community for our teachers, students, parents, and community to drive student achievement.
• Provide the best educational service to our students, parents, and community.

I look forward to transforming Sheridan High School into the premier high school in the State of Colorado. I look forward to our future endeavors and serving as your Principal.
